How it works

  1. Create your account at app.safubi.com and add a profile (for example "Kids" or "My phone"). Pick what to block.
  2. Open the profile on your phone and choose your phone below. The dashboard shows your personal settings to copy.
  3. Done. Blocked sites show a "can't be reached" page. Change what's blocked any time from the dashboard.

  1. Open Settings → Network & internet → Private DNS.
    Samsung: Settings → Connections → More connection settings → Private DNS.
  2. Choose Private DNS provider hostname.
  3. Enter the hostname from your Safubi profile - it looks like abc123.dns.safubi.com - and tap Save.

  1. Install the free WireGuard app from Google Play.
  2. In your Safubi profile, tap Create VPN configuration. A .conf file downloads (only once - keep it private).
  3. In WireGuard tap + → Import from file, pick the file, and switch it on.
Protecting a child's phone? Add a screen-time passcode (iPhone: Screen Time → Content & Privacy; Android: Google Family Link) so the setting can't simply be switched off.
